Adventure A - Planet of Death is now available on the App Store!
Can you escape?
This game is a traditional text adventure with a new, innovative interface to allow it to be played intuitively on the touch screen of an iPhone or iPad. This update from a classic adventure has more locations, more descriptive text, a more coherent storyline, more puzzles and those who wish to delve further can reach for the new achievements in the game.
With the new UI there is no typing in of guessed verbs and nouns, you can select your sentences, built up through the selection of your actions.
The game is now available for your enjoyment.

Well, it has been a while coming, but the new app from Coo Chew Games is on its way...
I've been wanting to create a text adventure that would work intuitively with a touch interface, and have come up with it to allow me to reproduce the ZX81 Artic adventure game "Planet of Death". There are much more detailed descriptions, everything (hopefully) actually makes sense and there is no messing around guessing what words can be understood by the parser.
I've changed some of the solutions, added some new locations, included achievements and made it (hopefully) more consistent in the story it was trying to tell.
The interface works on the iPhone 3, 4 and 5 (including iPod Touch) and iPad 1, 2 and 3.
It will be put forward to Apple in the next few days, so the game should be out shortly...
